With its distinct black and white ring-patterned tail that is longer than its body, the Ring-tailed lemur is a fascinating Malagasy primate that is easy to spot. This medium-sized species is known for its dynamic leaping ability, which it uses to move gracefully between trees in its habitat. Covered in a thick fur coat, the Ring-tailed lemur's tail provides excellent balance and stability as it navigates through its surroundings.
