Ancient Greek Mythology Tales of the Zodiac: The Story of Taurus
Taurus the Bull is the second sign of the Zodiac and represents those born between April 20 to May 22. The story of Taurus is of lust and glory.
There are many stories relating to Taurus the Bull from The Minotaur, The Cretan Bull and The Marathomian Bull. But most commonly known for The Rape of Europa by Ovid, where Zeus transforms himself into a white bull to seduce Europa, the poet Moschus tells this tale more vividly. Acusilaus, on the other hand, says the bull wasn't Zeus but the same bull linked to Poseidon and the Cretan Bull.
